Since re- opening in September 2007 by the young but experienced Patron Chef Wesley, Ta Peppi restaurant has given both locals and visitors the opportunity to enjoy local seafood in a warm, friendly atmosphere, all in the heart of the fishing village of Marsaxlokk.

Ta' Peppi takes an Italian, Mediterranean, minimalist approach in both menu and design, allowing guests to experience the true flavor of fresh and seasonal seafood.
Although focusing on fish, the menu also offers a range of pasta and grills.

Marsaxlokk Village is in the southern part of Malta, a truly Mediterranean fishing village experience. Sitting on a table outside Ta Peppi, one may feel the historic importance of the village.

Apart from the prehistoric features of Ghar Dalam and Borg in - Nadur (Bronze Age Fortified Settlement) in the area, Ottoman Turks landed in the village for an attack which highlighted the end of the Great Siege of 1565 and Napoleon's army also landed here in 1789.

Today, Marsaxlokk is the place to be to see colourful traditional Maltese fishing boats having the warm coloured legendary eye on the front of each boat. Having lunch at Ta Peppi for Sunday lunch gives a charming insight into Maltese life - stalls in the market are full of fish and seafood caught from the fishermen a night before.
